Meeting Professionals International

Meeting Professionals International (www.mpiweb.org) is the largest association for the meetings profession in the world with more than 24,000 members in over 80 countries. The membership base is comprised of 50 percent meeting planners and 50 percent suppliers. The planners in MPI membership base represent 79 percent of the Fortune 100 companies. 

VISION’s President and Executive Producer Tracey Shappro, was engaged for a three year national production contract by MPI to produce six World Education Congress and MeetDifferent events around the world. Tracey's role as producer included strategic marketing strategy to increase event attendance and overall production strategy to help elevate the production level of their opening general sessions for increased audience engagement.  

A state-of-the art technology showcase was developed for the Opening General Session presentations to position MPI as an industry leader that provided true business value for their members and the organizations to which they belong.  Tracey and her creative team introduced innovative staging and production techniques with the use of dynamic presentation styles and creative content to further engage attendees.  A webcast component was also created so members worldwide could share in what MPI was doing even if they couldn’t attend the conferences live. This helped also to achieve MPI's goal to grow as a global community and worldwide industry awareness.
